HelocRate.ca ("HelocRate", "we", "us") is an advertising and referral platform. HelocRate.ca is not a mortgage brokerage, lender or mortgage agent. We connect Ontario homeowners who request information about home equity financing with mortgage brokerages licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA).
This policy explains how we collect, use and share personal information, in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
Information you give us: your name, phone number, email address, the province where your property is located, whether you own a home, the amount you are looking to borrow, and any other details you choose to provide in our forms or when booking a call.
Information collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, time on site, the ad or link that brought you to our site, and similar usage data, collected through cookies, pixels and similar technologies.
We do not ask for your Social Insurance Number, banking information or credit report through this website.
We do not sell your personal information to data brokers.
By submitting a form on this website, you consent to the collection, use and sharing of your information as described here, including being contacted by a licensed mortgage brokerage by phone, text and email. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us (see below). Withdrawing consent may mean we cannot process your inquiry.
